Okay, so the waiting is over. The snow have finally arrived here in Norway, more than 2 month later than what I'm used to as a kid.
I've been speaking with some of my veteran colleges, and they've told me that this happend when they was a kid aswell. So I guess it comes in waves, having a couple of winters being extreme cold, and then slowly going over to a hot winters over the years, and going back to the cold couple of winters.
I guess you can say that winter definately isn't coming early for a couple of years.
But it's here now, better late than sorry. Strap on you ski boots, guys, cause now we'll go downhill!
Waking up today, knowing it`s the start if this year Christmas season, I do what I usually do and look out of the window to gaze out on the beautiful white snow.
The text continues below the picture.
Living in Norway, I´ve always had that tradition every Christmas season. With Mari, my girlfriend, in full of ecstasy, wanting to open the advent calendar and munch the chocolate, I was disappointing while gazing outside.
While looking out every season, woking up to pure white snow, I found myself staring at a cold, but not white, environment. It´s been like this for the past 3 years now.
The text continues below the picture.
I remember back in the days when me and my siblings were jumping of the 5 meter balcony at my grandparents place, down to 3 meters high snow, saving me from hitting the ground in a devastating speed. From there we had to "swim" ourself out of a labyrinth of snow, forming massive of caves for us to walk in. That´s only 15 years ago.
What have gone with the snow and this magical spirit, I wonder. Will I`ll ever experience the same as I did back in the days? And even worse, what about my future children?
I know there have been a lot of talk about what´s actually happening, and I´ve seen this natural happening de-evolve into nothing, leaving me and many other touch by this global disaster witch´ll one day hit us all.
I´m not gonna say it, I know you all know what´s the cause of this. And we need to do something.
The key to healthy eating is to enjoy a variety of nutritious food from each of the 5 food groups.
The Australian Guide to Healthy Eating displays the 5 food groups on a plate, in the proportion that you should be eating them throughout your day. If you eat a variety of foods from each of these groups, your body will receive all the nutrients and vitamins it needs to function.
Continues below the picture.
The five food groups.
Dairy
The foods in this group are excellent sources of calcium, which is important for strong, healthy bones. Not many other foods in our diet contain as much calcium as dairy foods.
Fruit
Fruit provides vitamins, minerals, dietary fibre and many phytonutrients (nutrients naturally present in plants, that help your body stay healthy.
Grain (cereal) foods
Always choose wholegrain and/or high fibre varieties of bread, cereal, rice, pasta, noodles, etc. Refined grain products, such as cakes or biscuits, can be high in added sugar, fat and sodium.
Lean meats and poultry, fish, eggs, tofu, nuts and seeds
Our body uses the protein we eat to make specialised chemicals such as haemoglobin and adrenalin. Protein also builds, maintains, and repairs the tissued in our body. Muscles and organs, such as your heart, are made of protein.
Vegetables, legumes and beans
Vegetables should make up a large part of your daily food intake and should be encouraged at every meal, including snack times. They provide vitamins, minerals, dietary fibre and phytonutrients to help your body stay healthy.
This bizarre creature looks like a rock, can breed ITSELF, and the inside is considered a delicacy in Chile
They live off the coast on Peru and Chile. It looks like a rock covered in molluscs. It can breed with itself, developing organs from male to female some time after birth. Their blood contains the metal vanadium.
Lurking in the bottom of the sea is the sea creature. It´s blending so good into the environment that´ll be an achievement itself to find it. Cause of the long developed look, benefited to hide from predators - the camouflage of a rock. But IF you were lucky to accidentally bump into this natural looking rock, it will expose a mass of blood-red hermaphrodite creatures, witch is also known as a delicacy in the nearby Central American countries. The look is also known as Pyura Chiliensis and belongs to the sac-like marine life, also known as sea squirts.
´Tunic´
Because it is covered in a layer - or ´tunic´ of other animal cellulose called tunicin - this creature in known as a tunicate. While playing it´s character, who would have known it had a mass of organs?
This creature in surviving underwater, doing what all ´filter feeder´does - inhales seawater, removes and feeds on the algae and micro organs living in the water, before exhaling the filtered water.
Breeding
How this weird ass stone reproduce is rather unusual. Its reproductive skill in something don't see everywhere, being born as a male and changing its gender when getting in puberty. When the breeding season comes, the creature releases its female eggs, and the males sperm, at the same time.
Vanadium On land, we use vanadium to make steel alloys. The same metal our stone makes, and the concentration of vanadium produced is around ten million times the amount found in the surrounding seawater, and researcher are unsure on what the function this element has in this creatures. The stone is one of the main food source for aquatic species such as the Chilean abalone, but it is also fished commercially and served in Chilean restaurants. The siphoned are pulled from the tunic after its been prepared with a knife or handsaw. The flesh can be eaten raw, or cooked, and it can be canned or sold as strips. Cause in the high amount of Vanadium and this element´s toxicity, the are concerns about butting your teeth into this pile of rock.
A new technology called Li-Fi (Light Fidelity) promises connections up to 100 times faster than Wi-Fi. According to researchers, the new alternative technology transmits high-speed data using visible light communication, which would reach speeds of 1 Gbps, which is about 100 times faster than a standard You can watch the introduction to this next gen technology here.
When you think about it, does´nt it seem strange that we humans are wired to live after the rhythm of the sun, yet we spend our time indoors in a light that does´nt change at all.
Ario is a new project funding on kickstarter. It´s a smart lamp, designed to simulate the rising of the sun so we biological can enjoy life better. Instead of the one static, same light indoors, day in and day out.
This smart lamp, Ario, will help us so get the most benefit out of our sleep, turning on starting with a soft light and slowly building up - simulating the sunrise - and the opposite, simulating the sunset, making it more natural for us to live inside, biological speaking.
Ario is funding at this moment, on kickstarter, and have already beaten it´s pledge of $50,000 goal - being at a $135,715. And they even got 21 days to go.
Is this the future? I would believe so. Installing this in every house would probably make many people having a healthier life.
They´ve also set a new goal. If they reach $200,000, they´ll also develop a native android app in addition to the iOS and web apps, and other features.
Make sure to check out their kickstarter page right here.
I remember back in the days, when robots only were a fantasy. It was just a science fiction seen in movies like Star Wars and Terminator - witch basically had a negative view of robots taking over the world, or were used in battles (except for R2D2 and 3-CPO, witch I´d more that love to have as a friend!), and at that time most people dreamt of flying cars.
It was something we could´nt even dream about. Flying object, artificial object doing humans everyday´s object, making our life´s easier.
But look at us now, with all the developing of new technology. The smartphones, cars with different systems helping us and making it safer for us, programs witch help us to erase the big paper archives, camera security - all these things to make it safer for us and to connect us together.
And with this new technology comes new stuff our next generation can be happy about and take up our free time. And with the internet, we want to share everything.
Even drones, witch have´nt been here for that long, are taking over the skies, filming and monitoring what you want to monitor.
Lily - the new selfie drone
Earlier this year, Lily Robotics announced their new camera-drone i the US, and this is a drone for the amateurs - you actually dont need to know anything about drones to use it. All you have to do is to throw it in the air, and the propellers takes over.
This little drone is running fully automatically - you are´nt able to manually control it, but it´s function is sett to follow you with the help of receiver witch you strap onto your wrist, or having in you pocket.
For instance - If you´re downhill skiing and want some footage of yourself doing a jump-trick, all you have to do it throw the drone in the air and set off.
And the best part is - It´s pre-programmed to to take awesome picture and videos!
Many functions
This drone got many function, like if you´re about to jump, the camera register what´s about to happen, and turns itself over to slow-motion video. The receiver you got on your wrist (or pocket), got the mic, so even your sound get´s recorded.
Wired reports that the camera got many of the same function as the GoPro Hero 3-camera; it can record in full HD (1080p), or in 720p with a clear 120 fps (frames per second)
You can even take a 360 degrees panorama picture and ordinary picture with a strong 12 megapixels!
Waterproof
The drone can fly in a speed of 40 kph (24.85 mph), and can run for 20 minutes with a full charge, and got a range on about 30 meters (98.42 feet).
Furthermore, while not having the most impressive time airborne, in compensate with being completely waterproof. So, if you´re out rafting and want some overview footage you could just throw it in the water and wait for it to hover above your head.
The price
Lily costed approximately 499$ the first month it came out, but the price have been doubled since then - ending up on a 999$ since June this year.

There are some things scaring me in life. Let me name a few things.
Snake.
Going to work without pants.
Standing in front of big crowds.
Saying my own opinion.
Getting fired.
Crashing.
Losing someone I love.
Being poor.
Not being able to pay my rents.
Sickness.
AND
Something bigger than myself witch I can't escape.
Like Illuminati.
With all the terror going on nowadays, how can we believe it´ll get better?
As we all know, Paris have been undergoing some heavy treats from the extremist group, ISIS, ruining the aspect and keychain of a kind and fulfilling life, blowing up and mass killing many people.
It´s in these days I get suspicious on what´s going to happen next, when it´ll happen and where.
As we live in these dark times, I want to show a video that restored some faith in humanity, atleast for me.
What would you do, if you were facing a terrorist?
So I just woke up today. My beloved Mari, promised me that se would walk the dog for us, early this morning, since se was going to the dentist. Witch I thought was very kind and generouse of her.
When I woke, around 1pm (yeah, I love to sleep), I found out that she did the really opposit, and Marley (our dog) haven't had her morning walk.
Am I wrong in being disapointed?
Anyway, she got her tooth removed while I did the vacuming as I promised I would, the day before.
I event feel mad thinkin' of it..
Anyway, I'd like to burry my thoughts in some gaming, resulting in completing the Black Ops 3: campaign, on hard. Great game! But it got a litte complicated at the end of the story.
Even so, I do recomend this game!
What do you think of my days happenings? Should I say something to Mari about todays early happening? Any comments on how I handle this?
The Long search for an extra home job is still going on. I have been searching in every corner of the internet to find something preffered for me. Dropshipping sounds interesting, but I'm still not sure about that. Might need to research some more.
While doing hours of research, my girlfriend took the time to clean up the whole place. I feel terrible not helping her out as much as usual.
I've also seen the latest episode of the walking dead today.
*Spoiler alert!*
I think it's freakin' awesome that Glen is still alive!
I've also been doing some Black Ops 3 zombies and campaign today. Sounds like I'm living the Dreams.
*Spoiler alert*
Did you know that theres a points in the campaign where you, without warning, are getting thrown into a zombie part, stranden all alone in an unknown place, where you have to fight of almost a hundred zombies, in orden to trigger the next section, while theres a fire burning up the whole place, slow but steady?
What do you think about Glenn being alive? Make sure to leave a comment :)
I remember when we used to drink right from the bottle. Had stolen alcohol from our parents, stuffed them in some clothing, just to make it sound proof. I remember jumping out of my bedroom window while still living at mom´s place.
And the song was on, and we were in the moment. Opened the bottle with much excitement, eager to know the unknown. Like staring into the abyss.
Until the abyss stared back at you.
Some people even went on other drugs, and my connection to the hard drugs won't be talked about today. Maybe sone day else. 420 one love <3 p="">
Anyway, back to the party. The most challenging as a underage drinker, was to get back through that window, nice and quiet. I managed to make it soundproof every time. I think. Or atleast, we did not talk about it.
Last night, I went out to meet a couple of friends, over some drinks. It´s awesome to think about that those people I went to last night, are the same people I was hardcore partying with, as a young man. heheh..
But I most say, after living a rave party life, I found my alcohol. And it´s green, and have leafs. 420.
Want me to tell something about me? Something you want to know? Please leave a comment, and let me know :)
I caught myself searching on the web for an part time job, working from home. An there´s a lot of scams out there. It doesn´t seem to be any way to work from home. Other than those survey-this, and other stuff you have to pay for first, in order to get something to work with.. It doesn´t seem legal, do you think?
I work as a porture now at the hospital. And the most of the time, I walk. Been doing this for the past 3 years now, and I can begin to feel my legs pulsing, like in having some nerves itching. We do get some really good shoes from work (hoka one one, it´s like walking on waves), but still, I can´t do this for the rest of my life..
Does anyone have any recommendations? Any ideas for a part time, or full time job, working from home?
I just woke up, realising I´ve been sleeping too long. Woke up, and the only activity I hear is Marley, my Hungarian Puli, also known as Bob Marley dog, jumping around and doing stuff she usually doesn´t not allowed to. Jumping in the sofa, going in the kitchen and then realising I´m awake, full of shame of what she did. She´s so adorable!
Marley is still just a puppy, and her dreads is almost a few inches long. Here is a picture when she´ll be around 3 years old.
But my GF is gone. I bet she went to work already. Watching the time now, it´s 1pm. Man, I need to wake up earlier. Anyone got a good alarm to suggest?
Anyway, she left me some snus. And that´s great, cause I was just about to run out. I´ll explain what snus is, for those who does not know what snus is.
Snus is like a little bag with tobacco, witch you put under you upper lip. Sounds gross, but it´s actually much better than smoking. Yes, it may cause CANCER, but what doesn´t?
I´ve been spending my spare time after work, socialising with my GF and playing some Black Ops 3. I think it´s awesome my GF steps up in the world of gaming. I kinda like the feeling that she puts time into my interests.
Anyway, Black Ops 3 is an amazing game on the campaign and multiplayer basis. Even the zombie mode is quite enjoyable, but the ranking system isn´t what I hoped for. I feel lie the games produced nowadays isn´t challenging enough to be enjoyed. Even so, I end up completion it within a couple of days. And that´s for any kind of game.
I can't wait until the big game Final Fantasy XV gets out. I hope that game will be more challenging that most other games.
In the picture to the left you see Noctus, the main character in the coming Final Fantasy XV.
He kinda looks lot alike Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy VII, doesn't he?
While being bored from gaming, I stumbled over this amazing video!
I wish I could remember stuff as good as this guy on the video..
What coming games are you looking forward to play?
And does any of them have superpowers like in this video?
So my shift just ended. After seeing all these sick people, needless shouting out caused pain, I´m glad that I´m as healthy as I am. Even tho´ I just took an MR on Tuesday, and still have some pressure feeling in my head, I´m glad I can still help people. And I appreciate it!
But still, the worst part of ending my shift, is to walk out too the cold. It´s minus 6 degrees outside, and this is the third day here in Norway, with snow. And the minus degrees keeps coming! Ugh!!
As optimistic as I am, I hope there´ll be more snow soon. I can't wait to start skiing :D
And also, Christmas is around the corner. My poor but wonderful girlfriend is trying to make up my present wish (a offroad self balancing segway scooter), aint I lucky?!
What do you wish for till Christmas? Leave a comment bellow, and let santa know :)
